Supposedly, the Nets have interest in him, and he has interest in the Nets.

I think that he'd be a very good signing. A very tough backup PG, that plays good defense and can hit shots.

Also, after the summer league, it's looking much more likely that Brandon Armstrong will be a season-long IR guy, and Scalabrine might not make the team.

Yes I read that in the NY post this morning. Childs would be a good backup for Kidd and an emergency starter. I was surprised he was willing to do this role. I think he wants to win again and maybe stick it to the Knicks for trading him? by playing in the area again.

Yea, I also think that winning had the most to do with his decision..

and it's always nice to show up a team for trading you... and what better way to show up the Knicks than playing well (albeit in limited minutes) right across the river?

He'd give us 10-15 good minutes a night, and I'd be thrilled with him as our backup. I can't think of a better backup for us, because I doubt the "bigger names," like McInnis and Best would be willing to backup a star like Kidd.

Scalabrine is awful!

For those of you who may skim through my reply and miss what I say, I'll say it again...SCALABRINE IS AWFUL!

I don't know why he made the NBA, he can't do anything, the only strength he has is having a lot of weaknesses.

The Nets need to get rid of Scalabrine!
