Poor Luther, living the life of a rookie in the NBA... he's probably getting it worse than other rookies being surrounded by a bunch of veterans!Luther's no Vandross
The Rockets heard Luther Head's singing voice on Tuesday. It was not the first time. The Rockets' only rookie had to sing at the team party Tracy McGrady gave at his house before the season. But with David Wesley turning 35-years-old on Monday, McGrady ordered Head to sing Happy Birthday at the team lunch on Tuesday.
"He's doing all right," McGrady said. "He doesn't complain. If we say, 'Luther, go jump off a bridge,' he'll say, 'Right now?' "
Head has not complained.
"He went to the mall for us, carries the bags, gets the paper," Wesley said. "He sang all right, but I wouldn't sign him up or anything."
