Excellent. Ironic since the clippers were rumored to move to anaheim back in the day. Ill be sure to go to a few games, what about you guys?

I think if we resign radman we might see korolev in the NBDL next year. Dun didnt want his first taste of america to be in the middle of nowhere in texas or wherever, so thats why he didnt send him there supposedly. But if were as deep as we are this year, id say it would be fine to send him to anaheim. Perhaps ndong or sofo too.

It will be nice to have some affordable basketball around here, plus be able to see some possible future stars.

I wrote this on the Laker forum as well, but it will be very nice to have two D-League teams in Ontario (or Long Beach) and Anaheim. I'll hopefully be able to go to a few weekend games and check the talent.

Great, the players that are sent down will be closer to LA and might be able to participate in pactices with the Clips team.
Thats a good point and a HUGE advantage if it works out that way.

One thing I dont think ive seen mentioned.

Now that nba teams will be able to control the coaches, etc. and more of the NBDL teams, how about expanding the draft to like what it was in the old days, 5 rounds or so? Look at baseball, how many guys come from like the 35th round, then make it in the minors. Heck, look how many undrafted guys make noise in the NBA. If there were 5 or so rounds, the teams could supply more players to the leage.

I really dont know how free agency is going to work though for the NBDL, such as high school kids coming out to the NBDL instead of college. I guess those guys wouldnt be elligible to call up to the NBA team, until they go through the draft?
