Watching the Blazers play has become almost like a train/car wreck. It's horrible, but you just can't look away, lest you miss it getting worse.

I'm actually rooting for the Blazers to lose games. Badly. I want it so bad that Allen is forced to sell the team, Patterson/Nash are fired, and Miles/Zbo/Theo are all traded/given away at a fire sale.

This team is dead. Dead as in "Chicago Bulls after Jordan retired" dead. Not even an overall first pick will revive this team. Clean out the deadwood, on the roster and in the front office, bring in some people who actually give a rip about the city, the fans, and the Blazers.

i agree about trading Miles/Theo/Zbo --- Zbo hasnt been the same since his knee thing and probably won't either. (probably) although he does have a sweet jumpshot at times, we need him downlow and he's neglecting that now....

and about the front-office....bleh, whatever helps us win; but i fear its not them, moreso than the time required to have the young guys develop under nate's system. this is his first year...

I'm not sure how losing will actually cause Paul Allen to sell the team, nor am I sure that it'd cause Patterson and/or Nash to be fired, since this is what they expected to happen.

I think that the team will be 'cleaning out the deadwood' this summer. And I think it's fairly obvious who those guys are. It's basically Theo (sounds like he's pulling a DA) and Darius (sounds like he's pulling a Darius).

Zach is a follower, and if there is an alpha male who actually SHOULD be the alpha male, he'll be a lot better.
