NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The 2021-22 Atlantic 10 Conference men’s basketball schedule will feature 76 nationally televised and digitally produced games on the league’s three media partners: ESPN, CBS Sports, and NBC Sports. The A-10 announced the conference schedule and TV selections for the upcoming season Thursday. Through its robust media agreements and all-encompassing streaming agreement with ESPN+, every home game for all 14 league members will be available on TV or digitally.

The 2021-22 conference schedule tips off on Thursday, Dec. 30 with seven games, including a nationally-televised contest featuring Dayton at Rhode Island on CBS Sports Network. Through the course of league play, there will be 55 televised games, seven televised non-conference games and three non-conference games on NBC digital as part of the A-10 package. Each of the league’s 14 teams will make at least four appearances on national TV. The league will televise every game the weekend of Friday, Jan. 14 through Monday, Jan. 17, including a special Martin Luther King Day doubleheader on CBS Sports Network.

For the 13th straight year, the Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship Final will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network and will also stream live on Paramount+ as a part of the network’s overall Selection Sunday coverage. In total, 11 games of the 2022 Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship at Capital One Arena will be nationally broadcast with the opening round games on March 9 streaming live, exclusively on ESPN+. NBC Sports will carry the second round and the quarterfinals, March 10-12, and CBS Sports Network will air the semifinal games on March 13. The championship will be played in the nation's capital for the second time in league history.

Last fall, the Atlantic 10 extended its long-standing agreements with all three media partners. This will mark the ninth year of the continuing agreements with ESPN, CBS Sports and NBC Sports. Atlantic 10 institutions reside in states that comprise 33.3 million television households, approximately 30 percent of the total national media market. There are nine A-10 institutions in or adjacent to the top 25 media markets in the country.

"It's exciting to be announcing a full master schedule for this season, given the challenges we faced last year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. I sincerely want to take this opportunity to thank all of our media partners for their tremendous support and the schedule they all will be broadcasting for the upcoming A-10 season," stated Atlantic 10 Commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade.

For the seventh straight year, ESPN and the Atlantic 10 will once again present A-10 Friday Night Showcase, featuring nine Friday primetime conference games. The nine league games begin Jan. 14 with a first-ever Friday doubleheader featuring Davidson at Richmond and a championship rematch of VCU at St. Bonaventure. In all, seven league teams will make at least one appearance on an ESPN Friday night game. ESPN networks will carry 13 conference matchups and two non-league games. All A-10 games across ESPN networks will also be available via the ESPN App, accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.

CBS Sports Network will carry 27 games, including 22 conference contests, three non-conference matchups and the two championship semifinals. The MLK Day doubleheader will feature rivals La Salle at Saint Joseph's and George Mason at George Washington, and wraparound programming developed by the A-10 Commission on Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion will be part of this doubleheader. CBS Sports Network will also produce and air four episodes of its popular college basketball show, “INSIDE COLLEGE BASKETBALL,” dedicated exclusively to Atlantic 10 coverage. Branded “INSIDE COLLEGE BASKETBALL, A-10 TIP-OFF,” the show will air prior to selected conference games. In addition to cable subscribers, CBS Sports Network is available via major OTT streaming services, and a live CBS Sports Network stream is available through CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App by authenticating with select providers.

NBC Sports A-10 schedule will again feature 33 total games, of which 20 are conference matchups, and five are non-conference games, with three non-conference games set for streaming on an NBC Universal digital platform. NBC Sports will also carry eight A-10 Championship games, airing the second round and quarterfinals. All league games will be carried on an NBC Universal television platform.

Additional regional and local television coverage will be announced at a later date. All games not carried as part of the A-10’s national television package will stream live on ESPN+

I hope our last game of the season in the mountains is for the mythical A10 championship.

I would almost rather have one of those games in Rochester. Olean posters will get mad at me, but I think we would have more fan support in Rochester during the student break.
Seeing that our home games with VCU, UR, and SLU are all with students on break, I shan’t shed tears for the Flyers.
Senior Night is during Student Break?
Didnt think of that…

Definitely. 6k+ in Rochester if they would do it, and probably a ton of them current students and recent grads.
