I can't really say I'm happy about Kareem being traded to the Lakers, but there's nothing I can do about it. I though he would've fit in really well in Toronto. I also think Jeffries would've been a better fit for LA. Anyway, the Lakers will have a very good scorer to back up Kobe and Shaq.

That's what I was thinking. He was taken 1 pick before Qyntel, so the Blazers might have been about to draft him. However, after hearing interviews from Phil Jackson, it sounds like Kareem will be a Laker next year.
