I think that Roger Mason, Jr. will make the team because of his ability to play both guard position and to defend. He is at least a better version of AJ Guyton and he can actually play some point. I'm not so sure about Lenny Baxter unless we trade Fizer very soon. Baxter is a banner and works hard, but it's going to be tough when you are 6'6", 6'7" trying to play downlow.
People always say that Krause loves athletic tall guys with long arms, and this draft may just have contradicted that. All three of the bulls' picks are relatively undersized players. Jay is a small PG with a very short wingspan; Mason is an undersized 2; Lonny is a classic example of an undersized PF. However, all of them are proven players who have been excellent in college and can contribute right away. This draft shows that the bulls may actually be starting to think about winning.
