I didn't see a thread about it yet, but the forum was down for some time today.

The afternoon guys on The Fan were mixed about Cheeks' crying, they talked a lot about it today. And it was on the front page of the Living section! Weird.

Still though, The Cry does surprise me. You don't see it that often in the nba, especially a few months into the season. I think if I was in the nba, I'd probably cry every day. But for these guys basketball is their life, and it's got to hurt when you are losing and you can't control your situation. I still have respect for you, Mo.

I would now like to see Rasheed get moved to tears about his team.

Yup, there was a thread regarding whether Cheeks' crying hurt his ability to run the team or showed dedication, etc, that was wiped out in the crash.

Myself, I have no opinion. Cheeks released stress and emotion, but I believe it's impossible to judge such a thing without knowing everything about a person's life, which we clearly do not.

Maybe there are other life factors at play.
