Eddy Curry was released from Rush University Medical Center on Monday morning. Curry had been hospitalized for tests on an irregular heartbeat.

"The arrhythmia he experienced in Charlotte on March 30, 2005 has dissipated," team physician Kathy Weber said.

Curry will undergo several outpatient tests over the next 48 hours to complete his testing battery. At that time, assuming all the additional tests are normal, he will be allowed to return to basketball activities.

"First and foremost, our concern is for Eddy's long-term health," Bulls' executive vice president of basketball operations John Paxson said. "During this process we have respected the wishes of Eddy and his family, as to the release of information regarding his condition."

Looks like Friday's away game against the Knicks is the earliest he can return assuming nothing else shows up on the tests of course.

That looks like a positive for Ed.

We'll have to wait for test results. Don't wanna start being optimistic in a day we already lost one key player.
