I'd figure I throw a trade out there that I believe could be accomplished without destroying the core of our team...

Chicago trades: PF Antonio Davis (8.7 ppg, 9.1 rpg, 1.6 apg in 32.2 minutes)
PF Marcus Fizer (6.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 0.9 apg in 13.8 minutes)
SG Kendall Gill (10.2 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 1.9 apg in 26.3 minutes)
Chicago receives: SF Antawn Jamison (15.4 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 1.0 apg in 29.7 minutes)
SF Eduardo Najera (3.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 0.4 apg in 13.7 minutes)
PG Tony Delk (6.6 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 0.8 apg in 16.3 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -0.1 ppg, -4.6 rpg, and -2.2 apg.

Dallas trades: SF Antawn Jamison (15.4 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 1.0 apg in 29.7 minutes)
SF Eduardo Najera (3.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 0.4 apg in 13.7 minutes)
PG Tony Delk (6.6 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 0.8 apg in 16.3 minutes)
Dallas receives: PF Antonio Davis (8.7 ppg, 9.1 rpg, 1.6 apg in 48 games)
PF Marcus Fizer (6.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 0.9 apg in 29 games)
SG Kendall Gill (10.2 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 1.9 apg in 43 games)
Change in team outlook: +0.1 ppg, +4.6 rpg, and +2.2 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

I don't think Dallas goes for that. Delk and Najera are their spark players. It's hard for them to give those two guys up.

We've talked about this basic idea quite a bit and based on the evidence it seems Cuban wouldn't give up Jamison to get a guy like AD.

If we took on Abdul-Wahad we might get something back:

AD, Gill, Jeffries for Abdul-Wahad, Najera, Delk, Marquis Daniels

That'd at lest give us some younger players and some guys that could play nice roles for us. Delk can somewhat run the point and Daniels has decent upside. Najera is a good defender/energy guy. Abdul-Wahad is a slug... I don't even know what his deal is... hurt or just no good?
