solid game by Dijon Thompson last night on the D-League opening night. He registered 15 points 12 rebounds 2 steals and 0 TO. Based on the stats, his only downside is his FG Percentage. He might be trying to do too much being the only (under contract) NBA player on the team. His team, the Thunderbirds, won against the 66ers.

I really like this D-League idea. Players like Dijon can get in game shape, gain more confidence, and learn a thing or two about pro basketball. With the depth of the Suns bench (House, Jones, Diaw, Burke, JJ) Dijon might have a hard time getting into the rotation, especially with so many wing players the team have. But, it's always nice to know that your 11th or 12th player is in game condition and ready to play. If Dijon continue to rebound like he did last night, and put a lot of work in becoming good at it, he can help the team. The Suns needs more rebounder.
