I still don't believe he'll go with the obvious...It's kinna hard to trust Krause man, but we'll see.. I think if Yao Ming's gone, he will choose either Dunleavy Jr., Drew Gooden, or Caron Butler...

Believe me I desperately want JWill, but I doubt that Krause will choose the obvious..

If JWill availible the #2 pick and Krause pass up on him and pick another player instead and not trading him to get a all star young veteran stud or a young veteran stud............I will disappear and you will not me anymore

Who cares whats obvious, that is not the point. Krause has not said a word one way or another. If Krause feels Jay Williams is the best player available at #2, he will take him. What's he going to do, take someone lousy at 2 so he can fool people two years down the road when we are picking around #20? I hope he does take him and I would be very surprised if he didn't. I'm not even sure I want a young vet anymore, I'm pretty sold on Jay Williams. Dunleavy is the only other possibility and let's face it, it is a remote possibility though I love Dunleavy, but Jay Williams is a great talent and a great fit.

what about brand?

That was a predicatable move. There are some parallels here between Brand and JWill - both from the Duke program. Krause has extensively scouted JWill, both for last years draft AND this years draft. I think whatever decision he makes it will be the right one.

The waiting is agonizing isnt' it. Only 6 more days!!

You know I truely hope that, for the sake of those who are in love with the idea of drafting and keeping JWill, Krause does just that....because if he doesn't it's going to be a lot of devastated and disheartened Bulls fans on these boards venting and making the boards quite hellish. WARNING;Krause just has a way at times of pissing a fan off with an occasional(sp?) WTF type of move...for me it started with his selection of Sellers over Dawkins in 86 upto the Brand trade last year(that one may have worked out). Not to say that Dawkins was all of that but at the time I thought less of Sellers game. Guardedly optimistic is what I'm trying to be.

i just think that Krause built the team the way it is to accomodate JWill and only JWill.if he doest draft him, what will make me angry is not the fact that we didnt get my favorite player, it will be the fact that he didnt do what made the most sense.

Since nothing has happened yet, why complain now. I also want Jay Williams, but if Krause should pick Dunleavy and get estra goodies, I won't complain because the guy knows what he is doing. It also depends on what the extra goodies are. Still I have trouble believing that anything like that will happen. Jay Williams is the obvious choice.

Jwill

In an interview jwill said that he will bring what ever it takes to make this team contenders again . Jwill will bring a lot energy to this team. Jwill is a good scorer and leader and excells when the game is on the line. Great strength, toughness. But jwill does have to work on a couple of things even though he is the most complete and ready player since tim duncan. Jwill is not a "pure" point he prefers scoring. Needs to show he's got the ability to control the tempo of a game and get all his teammates involved. Can get out of control and he must be more selfish. Jwill will become a very good player but he still needs to workout a couple of things on his game before he try's to make the bulls contender again.

I will not be suprised if Krause does not take Jay Williams. Caron Butler or Mike Dunleavy would be a really good choice. All we would have to do is convince Travis Best to resign with the Bulls..and have him give JC a few pointers. Those two can handle the point...you have Rose and either Butler or Dunleavy at the 2 and 3 spots with Hassell and E-Rob backing them up.

What is everyones thoughts on that?

I do prefer if we take J-Will and not resign Best...but we have a lot of options.

Mike Dunleavy Jr is a good player but he is too soft thats the problem with him. Jwill will probably be our pick. But if Jwill is still there at the #2 pick when bulls are suppose to pick Jerry Krause will pick the player he thinks fits better in this team. Caron Butler will be a very good option he brings mostly everything jwill bring to a team except that butler is taller, stronger and he stays in control when the game is on the line. Jwill is a good player when the game is on the line but he gets out of control he needs to calm down in those times.

Yes it could happen that way. But i think he WILL pick jay and then after that, who knows what will happen!! Yes a resigned best and having crawford in the backcourt with him will be an option also!!

One good thing about our team is that we have a lot of versatile players.

J-Craw can play 1 or 2
Rose can play 1, 2, or 3
Chandler can play 4,5, or 3(if needed)
Curry can play 4 or 5
E-Rob can play 2 or 3

we have a lot of options

AT THE TIME ! I just hope he doesn't trade away the core (Curry and Chandler) for more draft picks ! Anything else, I"ll learn about, dissect, and watch with apprehension on the court. Summer League Champ-YUNS !
