they had shown steady improvement this season and if they have a good off season do you think they can fight for a playoff spot in the easy east

p.s if you don't know we've beaten
DETROIT
SAN ANTONIO
NEWJERSEY
INDIANA 3TIMES
PHILIDEPHIA
CLEVAND(OR WHAT ESPN WOULD RATHER CALL IT THE LEBRONS)
LOS ANGELOS

WE ALSO HAVE GOTTEN ROBBED BY THE REFS ALOT THIS SEASON SO ARE RECORD SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER

See that thing on the left? That's the caps lock.
Sorry, but the Hawks will never make the playoffs in your lifetime.
Can you also post the list of the teams that have beaten the Hawks as well?
just maybe. if you get a point guard in the offseason.

i dont think al harrington leaving (if he leaves) will have much difference as you have so much depth. (marvin williams, two joshes, etc.)
yes the hawks could make the playoffs next year if they make the right moves, but at the same time, i wouldn't expect them to make it. in two years though, i do expect them to be a playoff team if they make some decent decisions.
I think they can! They are young, have a good core, and with another superstar, they prob can. maybe u can trade al and some fillers and draft pick for someone! I guarentee another star with joe and with all the nice players the hawks have they will!!!

you make a good point, but with the hawks you never know.
It all depends on their draft pick.
I can't see them knocking out any of the top 8. Orlando, Boston, and Chicago are probably going to be better next year too so there are some more obstacles for them.
Probably not, but who knows.. I think they are 2 years away with the improvements from Josh and Marvin. They got a decent foundation already. Just need to add another big, and hope everyone develop their game.
hmm..they are in the east sooo...yea sure.

If they get Aldridge, Williams, Nene, or Nazr in the offseason they can play competitive and fight for it, sure but it will have to take a breakout season from Woodson for them to make the playoffs.
..

I wouldn't rule it out but Atlanta will have some tough competition for the playoffs next year.

If Orlando can stay healthy (mainly Jameer Nelson and GHill), get a draft pick who contributes anything, resign Battie and if Dwight and Darko continue to develop I think they'll be in the playoffs next year.

I don't see Detroit, Miami, New Jersey, Cleveland, or Washington missing the playoffs next year barring major injuries. And Indiana will be in as long as they don't decide to blow up the team.

So that leaves 2 spots for Philly, Milwaukee, Orlando, Chicago, Toronto and maybe even New York. Hell, even Charlotte could go on a run if Okafor, Wallace, and May can remain healthy.

Yes, the next few seasons will be very interesting for every team in the east because there are so many talent young players such as Dwight, Darko and Jemeer in Orlando, TJ Ford and Bogut in Milwaukee, Granger of Pacers, Okafor, Wallace and Felton in Charlotte,CBosh and CharlieV in Toronto and the Hawks !!! with JJ, 2 Joshs and Marvin.
They have good talent down there with JJ, Marvin, and the 2 Joshes definitely. Zaza was also a great bargain. I see Al Harrington leaving after this season, but the Hawks can make up for him I think. Finding a PG's gonna be the toughest thing to do though. Finding one that makes them all go out and run in transation and set the table would do them wonders... Right now I just can't think of one that'll be available for them. The draft is critical as always for them. Just no more wings please! If they get a stud (Aldridge, Williams, Foye) this year, I think they're good to go. Give them 2 years give or take and I think they can be playoff bound with a few good moves here and there.
