Ben Wallace refused to go into the Orlando loss in the final seconds of the game. Wanted more touches on the offensive end. This feud between Saunders and Wallace has been going on for awhile. Sheed also has back problems. They haven't talked to each other since the loss. Let Detroit bury their own grave.

Interesting, wonder who the Pistons will choice this offseason, Saunders or Big Ben?
Wallace may have an interesting point. If the Pistons plan to keep up with Saunders more up tempo offense where there are more possessions to go around, does Ben deserve more touches for the dirty work he puts in at D?

What the hell? Why is Big Ben asking for more offensive touches? I never understand when guys who aren't good offensive players want more touches. I remember Mutombo was crying for touches after Larry Brown left town as well.
Now that I think about it.. that explains it. Larry Brown has a penchant for forcing the ball into the post no matter how bad of an offensive player the guy is in the post. When he leaves that player expects the same amount of touches to come their way.

This for sure isn't good for the Pistons this offseason. I dont get why Ben wants more touches though..
yeah, that's not good for them re-signing him in the offseason. he may up the price a little if he's peeved and not take anything less than the max. But also, from what I'm reading on hoopshype, if he isn't suspended for a game by the team then i'd be shocked. You have to keep control of your players and show them that there's a penalty for insubordination. If he gets off with nothing then that doesn't bode well for saunders
