Startingnext week, ESPN will unviell the Top players in each confernce from the Last 25 years. There were commiities for each conference, for example Dick Vital is for the ACC. Duh, that is a shocker. They have a list of 15 players that they compile for the the confernce top players the past 25 seasons. Then they want the public to vote,

I thought I will post each link for each confernce, then from the list, pick your starting 5 of those 15 players. Only use those 15 players, not adding anyone even if you disagree with them

I felt the left a lot of players off the list. I can name a few for the Big 12.

Ont his thread, please only post your starting linueps with the names are given.

I can't believe the Big XII team doesn't have Paul Pierce as an option.

Hollis should be listed as well, IMO. When people think of the Big XII over the last half decade, he is one of the more prominent players without a doubt, and he meant about as much to a team as any player could.

true, but then you look at ACC half of them are DUKE and A-10 most of them are Temple, what does that say?

I personally would take off Vaughn or Valentine and place Piece in that spot.

However, I would think they vote on 'College Players', and Pierce plays better in the NBA than College, but still.

He made 1st team All-America his third and final season, averaging over 20 points a game while sharing with Lafrentz, I'd say that's satisfactory. If Vaugn and Valentine are on there, there's absolutely no reason Pierce shouldn't be.

Man people are forgetting Stacey Augmon. I can't believe he is only on 18% of the ballots!? He was 2 time national defensive POY, and an intrical part of one of the most dominating units of all time. I think Anthony, Augmon, and LJ should be default picks; but to each his own.

And where are JR Rider, Kaspars Kambala, and Keon Clark?

My MWC team:

G - Anthony
G - Ainge
F - Augmon
F - LJ
C - Longley

(But I'd rather have Van Horn or Matrix instead of Longley)

I just realized I picked 3 teammates for the ACC team - Hurley, Hill, and Laettner, but that's who I like. Jordan and Duncan were my other two.

I like that list. Right now, the top 5 vote-getters are Jordan, Duncan, Hill, Bias, Laettner... The 2nd highest ranked guard is Mark Price. He's beating out Hurley by .5. Price was good, but no way was he better than Hurley.

I'm surprised Troy Murphy isn't getting more love. Guy was a back-to-back consensus All-American, wasn't he?

Troy Murphy should even smell a list of the top 15 players in the Big East over the past 25 years.
