Rumor has it that Portland and GS are working on a NVE/Dampier trade for Rasheed Wallace. We should pawn JC onto them after this happens. JC,Curry for Dunleavy,Pietrus, future pick. Then also do the Fizer for Jaric/Ely trade. Draft Okafor to replace Curry.

How do Dunleavy and Pietrus make the Bulls better?

If we trade JC and Curry I want one really good player. Not players who are about the same as what we give up.

Whatever. Draft Okafor as a Curry replacement.

Hinrich
Pietrus
Dunleavy
Chandler
Okafor

Plus vets like Davis,Gill,JYD and we are a LOT better than we are now.

Pietrus is still a work in progress. Might turn up big, but can we wait?

Dunleavy is good but he's not going to step up and be a superstar... he has a Matt Harpring game more than anyone else, maybe more like a Jalen Rose style game except with more intelligence and defense (which is a very decent player).

But he's a #2 option... maybe a great #2 option, but never more than that.

I have never said Dunleavy would be a #1 option. I think Okafor will be however. Between Okafor,Dunleavy,Hinrich,Pietrus and Chandler along with vets we would be fine. But whatever keep JC and Curry.

But we have at best a 25% chance of drafting Okafor. Any rebuilding plan that assumes winning the lottery is fairly sketchy.

Is it? It's somewhat better I suppose.

If I'm trading Jamal and Eddy I want Corey Maggette or something.

And I'm not counting on the #1 pick until after the lottery.

Thats what I keep thinking when people assume we will get Okafor in the draft, thats far from a foregone conclusion.

Bags,we could do better then that for Curry,no doubt.

we just released a player that gives u exactly what Pietrus is worth in Hassel(i'm not to high on the guy seeing play in europe),while Dunleavy is nice and getting better, also fits us,but still we should do better for Curry(and JC).I like hustling Cardinal though,he can be thrown in,and they gotta take ERob in that deal, say for Foyle expiring 4.4 mil contract.

TRADE ACCEPTED

I think G.S gets the 2 players with the higher value in this one - EC and JC.Together with Sheed and JRicf ,with Ttoy Murphy when he comes back, they turn out having a nice Roster (after 2 deals)

JC
JRich
Sheed
Murphy
EC

and ERob,brunson and Jefferies ofcourse

They gotta take out the trash(ours) to get the good stuff.

This is a good deal for us and I'm still not sure i'm ready to give up on Curry. He still might be way better then any one in this trade.I admit right now things don't look good for him but we waited 3 years and this season comes down to us as ping pong balls - again - it won't hurt us to wait another year - unless we get a REALLY GOOD deal!
