Final five games could seal Stotts' fate
Because he was neither the first choice of the Milwaukee Bucks nor the big-name hire whom many had expected to mold the disparate pieces assembled during an expensive makeover, Terry Stotts has been subjected to maybe greater scrutiny than most first-year coaches. But forget any conclusions you might have reached about Stotts during the first 77 games, because fairly or not, his success or failure will be determined in the last five.
Between now and Tuesday in the wacky kind of elevator ride that could only exist in the National Basketball Association's Eastern Conference, the Bucks could finish anywhere between fifth and out of the playoffs altogether.
