actually, that may be the South Jersey list. At least 4 of the high schools listed are south Jersey. Haddonfield is just outside of Philly, Lenape is in my hometown of Mt. Laurel. Not sure where Holy Spirit is.

So your supposition that the attached list is meaningless is correct. S. Jersey is not a hotbed of hoops.

Well, since the thread was started by a Rider alum and fan, discussing a Rider recruit in South Jersey, I"m not sure that comparisons to other lists are really the point. Try and stick to the topic, Beagle.

my post was on topic, it was about a regional all state list. They are nice honors but don't really mean much about the recruits ability in college.

Good point Beagle. I am anxiously awaiting your posts about how Rider, with a new head coach, and exciting recruting, is a threat to crack the top 7 in the MAAC next year. That is, of course, the theme of all your posts about not wanting to pick the pre season rankings in the MAAC until recruiting this spring is done, right?

I could pick them now but they will change as new recruits are signed and coaches are named there are 4 coaching spots open in the MAAC

Is there any circumstance under which you'd pick Rider higher than 7th? No chance for top 4, right?

Yes I already have them above FF, CC and SPC, But that could change depending on who coaches those teams and what recruits are added.
