I posted this on the NEC board, but thought I'd leave it here as well:

So, I printed out the bracket for the d2 tournament because I hope to go up to Springfield on Thursday for the semifinals, and actually wanted to see who was going to be up there. Going into the tournament there were only 2 unbeatens left, and those teams were Findlay, out in Ohio who was 29-0 going in, and then CW Post on Long Island who was 27-0 going in. Those teams were also #1 and #2 respectively in the d2 national polls. The NCAA has those teams on the same side of the bracket and if thats not bad enough they have them in playing in the quarterfinals instead of the semifinals. So to put this back in perspective: The NCAA not only has the 2 teams that are undefeted, but are also #1 & #2 in the polls, and they have them meeting in the quarterfinals. Is it just me or does something not make sense here?? IF, for whatever god-forsaken reason they decided to put them on the same side shouldn't they set it up so they'd at least meet in the semifinals which would still be terrible, but it would at least be better then the quarterfinals??
