Yeah oh my goodness, that guy can jump. I still cant believe what i saw. He stole the show and it was his contest to lose and he did.

Rodney Carney was ridiculous too, he almost dunked from a foot behind the free throw line.

i have loved james white since 2001 during the mcdonalds all american slam dunk contest but one thing i realised that he always does the same dunks which basically revolve around jumping from the free throw line and although they are nice n good. his repertoire of dunks isnt very good

It is great to see James White has tapped into some of his potential. During his freshman year at Florida, it looked like he was going to waste all of the talent he had. But this year he actually had a very solid season and seems to becoming a very solid NBA prospect.

As for his ability to jump from the free throw line, well that has simply never been done before. He can do things in the air when jumping from that distance that no one has done before. His free throw line dunks makes Jordan's look ordinary.

Flight White is a special talent, and if he has success in the league early on, I have no doubt he will be up to winning the NBA dunk contest.
