It should be noted that Ruffin is the only player on the Washington Wizards who has played in all of their games. Also, that offensive rebounds constitute nearly half of his total board-work, that it's an exceptional power forward who averages better than one rebound for every four minutes of daylight, and that Ruffin is the second-best shot blocker on the team.

In sum, he's a useful, if limited big man, who can adequately backup both power positions. His intensity and ability to execute at both ends also makes him an over-achiever — which, in itself, is a rare quality in the NBA these days.
