Georgia Tech is very far from a relatively bad team. The Yellow Jackets finished the season on a roll. 8-3 to be exact with big wins over NC State, Virginia, and Wake. Not bad for a team with only one senior that was actively involved. Granted that senior was sharpshooting Tony Akins, a four year starter.

Jarrett Jack will step in and contribute right away. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts from day one like Akins did. Jack should have been an All American like Bosh.

Bosh will get a ton of minutes just because Tech lacks size. Ed Nelson is a nice complimentary player as well. Nelson is a get on the floor, loose some teeth type of player. Although he was ACC's Frosh of the Year, he still remains an under appricated player.

Throw in BJ Elder, Is'mail Muhammad and Luke Schenscher, Tech looks pretty solid. I do agree that they are young and still growing but don't count them out.

Torrin Francis of Notre Dame has to also be considered. With Ryan Humphrey graduating, there is a gaping hole in the frontline for the Irish. And with Chris Thomas running the show, the post players' value has to be improved already.

Plus Francis is a hellavu player. He's very versatile and a smart player. Granted he doesn't have the physical style down yet but not many freshmen do.
