There will be a record 213 televised men's basketball games involving Atlantic 10 Conference member institutions during the 2012-13 regular season and conference tournament. This includes the previously announced 75 games that are part of the Atlantic 10 television package, individual institutions regional and local agreements and non-conference games that are part of the opponents television package.

Nearly half, 103 of the 213 games (48 percent), are national broadcasts, appearing on one of the A-10's three media partners. This includes 49 games on the ESPN family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3), 40 games on CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network and 14 games on NBC Sports Network.

In addition, 83 of the 213 games are A-10 conference regular season games. This represents 65 percent of the Atlantic 10's conference 128-game schedule. There will be 31 different outlets, including the local and regional carriers, airing Atlantic 10 games this year.

URI has a really good tv deal with the local network Ocean State Network/Cox Sports that will broadcast all the home games and could pick up more games throughout the year

Yeah VCU has a similar deal with the local CBS affiliate for Central Virginia that will show several of our games that aren't already televised. 27 of our 31 regular season games are televised at this point with 16 of them being national games.

It seems like this is a very good TV package for the league overall.

Are they including the 2nd and 3rd round of those early-season tournaments in those numbers? Seems like the list only shows the first round. I assume some of those later rounds will get on t.v. too.

Duquesne will get games on Root Sports this year locally according to this list. This is good news for the Dukes in a crowded local sports tv market.

Siena @ St. Bonaventure will also be broadcast on NBC Sports if the NHL lockout is not resolved by then which looks quite likely.

Add one more.

Duquesne vs Western Michigan on Wednesday December 19th will air nationally on NBC Sports Network according to a Duquesne release.

Lets hope the lockout continues and A10 games are continued to be added to the schedule over at NBC Sports.
