The Cleveland Cavaliers are brought to you this season by Cub Cadet Premium Lawn Equipment. This makes the Cavs the only NBA team with a steel Shaft Drive for greater reliability, strength and durability.

Here, LeBron James uses his steel Shaft Drive to jump high and throw it down.

The Cub Cadet Series 500 Snowthrower features Posi-Steer steering to give the user easy use. Using the finger grips, you can enjoy effortless, single-hand operation...and snow throwing.

Here, Zydrunas Ilgauskas thuroughly enjoys single-hand usage of the basketball.

LeBron James and his steel Shaft Drive are leading the Cavs to a hot start this season. LeBron is averaging 26.7 ppg, while shooting 50.3% from the floor, 38.2% from three and 83.1% from the line. King James also averages 5.1 rpg, 3.8 apg, and 1.11 spg. Larry Hughes was one of the big off-season pickups for the Cavs and he is averaging 15.3 ppg, 4.1 rpg, and a team high 4.6 assists. Hughes is turnover prone with 3.33 a game. Zydrunas Ilgauskas is still solid with 14.0 ppg to go with 8.8 rpg (4.7 offensive). Donyell Marshall is working towards 6th man of the year with 12.0 ppg and 8.0 rpg as a backup to Drew Gooden. Gooden has 11.8 and 8.8 to go with 1.78 bpg and impressive 52.6% shooting. Damon Jones has 9.6 ppg with solid shooting, 46.2% from the field and 44.2% from three.

The Cavs as a team are dominating the boards with a +9.5 margin, as well as +5.2 on the offensive glass. This will definately prove to be a test for the Celtics who don't have the experienced big men you want going against Zydrunas, Gooden, Marshall, and Alan Henderson.

For the Celtics to win this game, neutralizing the boarding of the Cavs big men will be necessary. The Cavs are shooting 46.7% from the floor this year and the Celtics cannot afford to give them too many second chances.

LeBron James always brings the best out of Paul Pierce (and vice versa of course).

It should be an interesting game.

DEFENSE? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' DEFENSE!

That's right Zydrunas...you didn't need defense to defeat the 76ers, 123-120 on Saturday. Larry Hughes led the team in scoring with 37 on 12-24 shooting (5-6 from three) to go with six boards, four assists, three steals. LeBron James was the player of the game with a triple double of 36 points (14-24 FG), 11 boards, 10 assists. Drew Gooden had a solid game with 16 points and 13 boards.

"LeBron, LeBron, LeBron. That's a triple-double, and that's says enough," Cavaliers coach Mike Brown said. "LeBron is amazing. We didn't do anything tricky down the stretch. We put the ball in his hands and he won the game for us. This guy is making me look like I can coach."

Actually, the Cavs are 8-2. But ya, they are 5-0 at home, and I think they have this one unless they really screw up big.
At the time I made the thread, they were 7-2. It does need to be updated, but I don't think I can do it myself as I am not moderator of this forum.

Larry Hughes looks amazing right now as the Cavaliers are taking advantage of Boston's poor ballhandling (points off turnovers). Justin Reed is in the game to cover LeBron.

LeBron James is simply too powerful and too quick for anyone on the Celtics to guard. He can free himself from our small forward (Justin Reed) and then simply score with ease.

Dickau isn't looking too bad tonight.

Re: GAME 10: Celtics (4-5) at Cleveland (7-2)

The Celtics are getting very frustrated with their inability to play well against the Cavaliers and are making dumb mistakes such as throwing erratic lob passes into the paint and forcefully penetrating causing offensive fouls.

Awful...awful start.
The actual start of the first quarter was much worse. Near the end of the first, Boston went on an 9-0 run. The Celtics are simply being out-played by a very good team. It's hard to watch.

Delonte West with a nice hesitation dribble and layup on a fast-break. He's awful tonight, but that was a very, very nice play and decision to attack the basket rather than pass through a double-team.

I'm really tired of having to play some sort of catch-up EVERY game. I know were young, it's just getting old. I hope we can change during the course of the season.
