Forget the Lakers; we'll never catch them. Right now, our chances of making the Playoffs depend on Utah winning and Sacramento losing--and beating them tonight at home would give us a full game worth of catch-up. This game is vital.

Yes it is of vital importance, this is the last chance. There will be no others, hope to happy at the end of the game.
after Thursday nights debacle vs the Wizards I've given up all hope of the Jazz actually making the playoffs. what I'd like to see now is the core of guys that the Jazz want back playing, and those who they dont just let them rot on the bench. I think if the Jazz just allowed the guys who should be, or will be back to play (Booz, Memo, AK, Harp, Dwill, CJ, Whale) then the Jazz could get a good indication on were to go from here.

It's still technically possible, and I'm going to hope until it isn't. Have faith.

well its still technically possable that George Bush will buy hooked on Phonics and speak like a normal human being, but it isn't going to happen any time soon. Honestly the only way I see the Jazz making the playoffs is either Carmelo Anthony goes down with a season ending injury, Kobe misses 10 games with an injury or another suspension, or if John Stockton and Karl Malone return to the Jazz. and since none of these things will happen, I think it will be best for the Jazz to get CJ some experience.

Pessimistic but practically True.
we are only 2 games back, and if we win this one it will only be 1 game back. What are you talking about?
what Im talking about is this teams one step forward two steps back philosophy. yeah they may win this game, but the next game they will find a way to lose. if the Jazz had not screwed up in the Memphis game, scored more than 14 points in the Orlando game, and guarded the 3pt line vs the Wizards. then yeah I'd be saying bring on the playoffs. but they didnt, so they are 4 games below 500. the Lakers and Kings wont lose enough games to allow the Jazz to get infront of them. the Jazz wont be able to beat the Spurs twice down the stretch, plus the Jazz still do have games against the T-Wolves and Warriors. teams the Jazz should but wont be able to beat.
Our start is a disaster , we are back 19-7 in the first quarter..
Getting better , 8 . 22 to go in the second quater , 33 - 27 , hope to catch up at the half.

By the way Krilenko will possibly have a 5x5 , he is now 2 points , 5 rib - 3as - 2steals 4 blocks , Great stuff.
Getting better , 7 .20 to go in the second quater , 33 - 29 , hope to catch up at the half.

2 points behind at the last quarter , having foul trouble Memo and AK47 ... hope that we are going to win .
Okur for three and ties the game with 4.20 to go , come on Jazz ...
Damn. I really thought this one was going to happen.

...so close... I really want the Jazz to make the playoffs this season.
If they lose the next game, they will not make the playoffs.
True--math isn't a friend to the Jazz now.

Fortunately, the next game is NOK, and that's winnable. Plus the Kings lost last night, so that helps some.

Laurie
With the remaiining schedule that the jazz have they have very little chance of making the playoffs. It's not like they just need to win games against playoff bound teams, but they need teams ahead of them to lose for them to get in.
