Frank Martin has UMass playing better so far this year as well. Given UML’s fairly soft schedule, this is a good test for both teams.

Great job by Lowell. Hats off we need these wins. I caught the last five minutes of the game which is exactly when Lowell started collapsing with some ugly turnovers. When I UMass made it a 1-point game with two minutes left I never wouldve believe Lowell could pull it out. They showed grit and composure down the stretch impressive stuff.

Unfortunately I think this means this will be the last year they’re invited back to Amherst.

UMass was honestly not very impressive. The 7-2 record is a bit deceiving given how soft their schedule has been thus far. They’re very small, playing one 6-7 forward then four guards, most of whose were 6’ to 6’3 range. If theyre a supposed A10 contender that doesn’t say great things about that league.
