One Of These 7 Guys...

Dwayne Wade(SG)
Richard Jefferson(SF)
Tracy McGrady(SG)
DaJuan Wagner(SG)
Josh Howard(SG)
Pau Gasol(PF)
Kareem Rush(SG)

Trade #1
Chicago receives:
Dwayne Wade(PG/SG)
Eddie Jones(SG)
Caron Butler(SF)
Samaki Walker(PF)

Miami receives:
Kirk Hinrich(PG)
Tyson Chandler(PF/C)
Antonio Davis(PF/C)

A switchup of sorts. Everybody expects us to deal Crawford and Curry but in order to completely revamp we go in the opposite direction. A selection of Emeka Okafor pretty much gives us the best young starting 5 in the East. Miami gets the true PG they wanted in Hinrich and rid themselves of an extra year by trading Jones fo Davis. Miami instantly weakens themself at SG (the position which was by far their strongest) and is the only considerable reason this deal wouldn't be good for them

Trade #2
Chicago receives:
Richard Jefferson(SF)
Rodney Rogers(PF)
Jason Collins(C)
Future 1st Round Pick(Top 13 Protected)

New Jersey receives:
Jamal Crawford(SG)
Eddy Curry(C)

This trade would have to wait until the season is over. If New Jersey can't get past a West team again they'll need a Center and we can give it to them. Jefferson for Crawford straight up isn't fair but by throwing in Curry for Rogers/Collins, Jersey gets the better of the deal. The Future 1st is basically an insurance clause.

Trade #3

Orlando receives:
Jamal Crawford(PG)
Eddie Robinson(SF)
Eddy Curry(C)
1st Round Pick 2004

Easily a good trade for both teams highly dependent on whether the Magic think Tracy will re-sign. If they have a strong feeling he won't this trade makes sense. The Bulls get their #1 option Orlando builds around a nice, young starting 5.

Trade #4

Future 1st(Top 5 Protected)

Cleveland receives:
Jamal Crawford(PG/SG)
Chris Jeffries(SG/SF)
Antonio Davis(PF/C)
Eddy Curry(C)

This deal makes a ton of sense. Crawford and James would be interchangeable at the guard spots, Curry gives them a young post presence. For us, we shed a year off a bad contract(Davis for Z), get a shooter and scorer in Wagner and another post defender who's been with winning teams in Battie.

Trade #5

Dallas receives:
Jamal Crawford(PG/SG)
Antonio Davis(PF/C)
Eddy Curry(C)

Basically a sensible deal for both teams. We give Dallas numerous bigs in addition to a good combo guard. In return we get a player we wanted last summer in Walker, and Howard who is the real steal. Fortson is cap relief since they are taking Davis for 2 years.

Trade #6

Memphis receives:
Jamal Crawford(PG/SG)
Eddy Curry(C)

A sensible deal for both teams. Memphis does become somewhat weak up front but West has a history of getting a player he wants. Being stacked on the wings doesn't hurt either. We get a star in Gasol and 2 vital pieces in Battier and Swift.

Trade #7
Chicago receives:
Kareem Rush(SG)
Rick Fox(SF)

Los Angeles receives:
Jamal Crawford(SG)
Marcus Fizer(PF)

The best part here is we hang onto Curry. We get a shooter capable of starting at the 2 and the Lakers free up some room to re-sign Kobe, and if they can't Crawford is always a viable option. Fox is the key piece as he can provide some winning experience.

So there we go my 7 trades. I've opened myself up to the "You have to be drunk to do these trades so fire away"
