How do you think Borchardt will fit into the Jazz rotation? It was a great deal they made by getting rid of the undersized Ryan Humphrey to get the 7 foot Borchardt. I think Borchardt and Jaaron Collins will each get a significant amount of playing time, while feasting off eachothers experiences to help get better. I think Borchardt will be a pretty solid player for Utah a few years down the road.

The questions on Borchardt aren't how he will fit in the rotation or will he be a good player in a few years. The question is will his foot get better and even allow him to play. He has had three breaks in the same foot over the past three years. He will play and contribute if he is physically able. The reports here were that Orlando called immediately after drafting Borchardt wanting to know if Utah was interested. The drafting of Humphrey was requested by Orlando. When the announcement of the pick was made in the Delta Center the GM told everyone to wait until later and there would be an announcement.
