Golden State was a championship contender a couple seasons ago, but once Arenas's play deteriated the team's chance of winning evaporiated. Of course without Gilbert they were able to draft Curry but now they have seen the rest of their core age and even the playoffs look distant. Dunleavy and J-Rich are no longer above average starters, but amazingly Jamison still has been playing very well. The team also has a huge hole in the middle. Glen Davis doesn't look like the answer and Troy Murphy is washed up. The Warriors haven't hit bottom yet however. As Jamison and Richardson continue to age the Warriors will find themselves higher and higher in the lottery.

The Golden State Warriors have moved Trevor Booker from the bench to the starting center posistion swapping him with Glen Davis. The Warriors have also moved Larry Sanders from the developmental roster to the bench swapping him with Troy Murphy.

The Golden State Warriors have moved Jason Richardson back to the starting Small Foward posistion swapping him with Mike Dunleavy.

NOTE: The Warriors have played suprisingly well this far in the 2012 season. Jamison, Young, Farmar and Booker have all played better then I had thought they would. Their bench is good enough to push this team into the playoffs once again and maybe even a top 4 seed in the west. When the playoffs do come the bench won't help them as much though and they won't. Be able to contend for the Western Conference championship over teams like Dallas or the Lakers.
