A reserve player coming through when needed has become routine for the Bulls this season, but this performance was unexpected:
Swingman Adrian Griffin produced season highs in minutes (32) and points (16) while hitting 7 of 10 shots in Friday’s win over New York.
“I guess I was feeling it,” he said “You know, the (Madison Square) Garden is the best place to play in my opinion, because everything’s perfect, the ambience. I was just ready to play. I’m going to sleep good tonight.”
Griffin became the 12th Bulls player to produced a double-figure scoring effort in the past 12 games.
