I just read in today's paper that Miami was offered by the Bucks...

Glenn Robinson for 10th pick, Gatling, AC, Ellis...


but Miami felt Butler will be better than Grob.. If Butler wasnt there Pat Riley said he might of taken it

Why it's never going to happen...

#1 reason...they waived Gatling yesterday
#2 reason...they won't have a good backup PG in AC anymore
#3 reason...Pat Riley is too high on Caron Butler, and it would be plain foolish to trade him, even for the Big Dawg

Buddy, this was a draft day trade before the Heat knew Caron Butler was gonna be there. Riley didnt do it because Butler fell, if Butler didnt fall it woulda been interesting to see what he did considering its 10,ellis,ac for grob because he knew he was gonna release gatling anyways...

That trade must of been one of the phones that Riles had on hold.The paper said that Riles had a few trades that he was considering,if Butler wasnt their when we picked.
