Its funny how Im from Canada and the lakers are my favorite team but raps come in second and I would love them to to go the finals with the lakers.
Kobe is way better then Vince in everything except dunks.I want Vince to become a playmaker like kobe. Then we have a huge shot at the finals. If we had kobe we would be tops in the east.Kobe would make everyone better.

Its fun to dream.Vince is amazing but kobe woould help us in all aspects.Hmm I wonder if GG would trade Vince for kobe?

What do you guys think.Admit it wouldnt you die if kobe came to help our team.

What would you rather have a Carrot or a Tomato. It depends on the person.

Personally I would rather have Vince over Kobe. I know Kobe is the better player overall but

-Everyone would agree when I say Vince has made Toronto Raptor basketball what it is.
-Everyone would agree we would not have the 3rd best attendence in the NBA if it was not for Vince.
-Everyone would agree Toronto would not have played 1 playoff game if was not for Vince.
- Some will agree if it was not for Vince Toronto would not have a basketball team.
- I would agree if it was not for Vince I would not be a basketball fan.

Vince has done more for this city and team then any player I can think of.

- He has donated hundreads and hundreads of thousands of dollars to charity in and around the city.
- He has based an all-star game in Toronto where we get to see some of the best NBA players.
- He has commited to staying here for at least the next 6 years

Kobe Who?

I know that Kobe's better right now. But he's not way better. In fact they have very similar games. But I have to admit that Kobe is better than Vince right now.

But would I take Kobe on the Raptors over Vince? Not in a million years. Vince has done so much for the city and the organization. He's donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the city. He took this team to the playoffs, he brought fans to the game. The Raptors are one of the highest draws and one of the leaders in attendance. You can come up with a billion reasons for that but in the end it all boils down to Vince Carter. He took us to the playoffs and he took us to game 7 of round two. He scored 50 points in the Phila series, he's hit tons of buzzer-beaters over the course of his career. He's the best dunker in the game, he's a dangerous 3 point shooter, even though he does sometimes fall in love with the trey. He's one of the toughest players in the league. He went out on one leg when his team was losing in a desperate effort to save the team and stop the losing. It didn't work, and he hurt himself more, and all the critics were on him. They still are, and he's said that there'll be hell to pay for everyone who doubted it. He says he'll be back next year with a vengance, no more nice guy, a different Vince.

Will he live up to his words? We don't know. But I'm sure as hell glad to be on this ride.

The Lakers and the Raptors are both my favorite teams. Kobe and Vince are both my favorite players. Would I rather have Kobe play in Toronto over Vince?? Hell no!! Vince brought basketball to Toronto! We were always only a hockey town, we still are a hockey town, but basketball too. He's done so much for Toronto. While other players in the league are frightened to play in Toronto, he's chosen to stay here for another 6 years and show others that it's not so bad in Canada. Yes, I must say that Kobe is a better player than Vince, but not always more exciting or more faithful to Toronto.

Vince is our guy and will determine the fate of our franchise for probably the next decade. Carter made this franchise what it is today, as a fan since day I can honestly say this team was crap before we aquired Vince and for that I would rather have him then Kobe anyday.

I know vince is an awesome player and had done a lot for toronto.I respect him for everything hes done I just think he needs to be more of a playmaker like kobe.I hope he can gets to the finals with the raps.It also showed that the raps by themselves without one star could get to the playoffs but if vince was with them he would of gotten them farther then the 1st or second round.I hope Vince shows what hes all about this year.I also pray he doesnt get injured.I also cant wait for la to come to toronto in december.

I remeber last game when la came they killed the raptors especially kobe.I dont remeber if Shaq played.I had to turn te game off the raps played horrible.I love the lakes but it was killing me to watch toronto.

First Vince is a better long range shooter than Kobe (not always good)! If you mean that Kobe is a play maker by driving to the hoop and scoring or occasionally dishing to Shaq for a dunk then okay he's a better slasher than Vince. I think Vince was just enjoying the fruits of his labours last summer developing his jump shot. Hopefully this year Vince's thirst for vengance (due to others labelling him as soft and slow) will become more aggressive (like Kobe) and take it to the hole. Then there will be no need for comaprisons when Vicnce will be and MVP candidate along with Shaq, Duncan, Kidd, Pierce and Nowitski leaving Kobe to play in Shaq's shadow.

Luckily Shaq will probably only play 1-2 more years then we will see what Kobe can do.
