Yup. Just remember that almost all journalism style principles were built on saving letters in typeface back before computers. (Well, except RBIs)

I always use 2 L's because it sounds more phonetically correct. WTF, we need basketball to talk about

Sincere Carry, who still has his strategic, George Michael-style five o’clock shadow, sort of has midget legs. Is it okay to say “midget” anymore? Little person? Actor? ACK ACK!

Meh, the mask thing for the staff/players inside the gym is relatively pointless. A basketball team is a family. It's impossible for them not to be in close contact with each other.

I watched one game where they social distanced the benches so the players were all spread out.... even though they are roommates with each other, eat together, sit on a bus for hours together; and the SCORER'S TABLE -- where you have 12 people who don't see each other much except for a 3-hour basketball game -- was the same as usual.

BTW, the officiating in the Bonnies game was terribly inconsistent and borerline bad (on both sides, just objectively maddening).

Are we seeing the effect of BCS conferences locking in officials to exclusive assignments during the pandemic, or are these the same guys as previous years?
