Would love to see the Hawks prevail...UGA is extremely talented, more so than Temple, but can be beaten on a bad day

UGA 36, UHart 33 at halftime...

Both teams shot 48% in the 1st half and Hartford's hanging in very well against an extremely athletic Georgia team.

Tasha Humphrey for UGA is a HUGE girl down in the post...a very tough matchup to say the least

How about that sequence where Hartford plays great defense and Humphrey has the ball outside the arc as the shot clock winds down. I'm figuring the Hawks were in good position because the big center has the ball, but she made a move and put up a jumper that swished to beat the clock. She looked as smooth as a guard on that play!!

The Hawks can run their offense and generate good shots as long as they have excellent execution. GA just is too talented and has too much size and speed for Hartford to be anything but very precise. Got to keep Beverly in the game as much as possible too because the offense struggled more when she went out.

The bottom line though is that Hartford is competing VERY well with an SEC team!! This is really fun to watch!!!!!

If Hartford comes back to win is it the first Sweet 16 ever for the America East (in bball)?

44-42 Georgia

Just a tremendous basketball game...

They mentioned that Georgia is near the bottom of the NCAA in FG% allowed (288th of 331 teams)

Erika Messam is hurt

Update: Messam has a cramp and they'll try to get her back into the game...

UGA went on a spurt and now leads by 11

Georgia is getting a little sloppy with an 11 point lead and perhaps a little tired (they're only playing six players due to injuries)
