so, now supposedly, the spurs are gonna clear their salary cap so that they can sign kidd when he becomes a free agent. also, supposedly, tim duncan really wants kidd to play for the spurs and he said he's gonna talk to kidd about it.

waaah! i don't want kidd to leave the nets!!!

then again, rod thorn said that he will do whatever it takes to keep kidd. the nets don't want to make the same mistake that they did with dr. j.

Ive heard that the Dunc-Man and Kidd are pretty tight,so this CANT be good news for the Nets.....

If it makes u feel any better its NOT good for my Heat either, cuz we plan on signing at least one of them next summer,if not both.

We all know that Micky Arrison aka the owner of the Heat is a BILLIONAIRE,and hes made it quite clear that he will go over the lux tax for players that will get the Heat a CHAMPIONSHIP!

Imagine Pat Riley WOOING both Duncan & Kidd to Miami?

C - Zo
PF - Duncan
SF - Woods
SG - E.J.
PG - Kidd

I know this looks and sounds like im 12 years old,but the CRAZY part about it,is that it COULD actually HAPPEN!

Shaq & Phil would be SCARED into RETIREMENT

:D

I think that Duncan is going to stay, and Kidd is going to San Antonio to play with him. Duncan would not go to NJ, Kenyon Martin is already at that spot. But then again, KMart isn't untradable.LOL!

Hell, who wouldn't trade K-Mart to land Duncan?

If you don't want to trade KMart for Duncan, you're either a biased Cinicinnati fan, or just a biased KMart fan.

This is actually old news. As for will it happen ... doubtful ... The Spurs will land a big time free agent but I don't think it will be Kidd.

In '03 Tony Parker will be the only player the Spurs have under contract. They will have a ton of room under the cap (after re-signing Duncan to the max), and have the rights to the top player in Europe. The one player that I think the Spurs are going to make a run at is J. O'Neal who will also be a free agent in '03. Tony Parker is only 19 and proved that he can hang with the best PG's in the league. He's only going to get better so it doesn't really make sense to sign Kidd unless he's move to SG. He has the size but as we all can see he's no SG. Parker is too small to play the 2.

As for Kidd, I do think he will leave NJ. Kidd is from the West Coast and loves to play in front of big crowds. NJ is neither from the West nor do they draw big crowds (which is a shame considering how good they've done this year). I have a feeling that Kidd could end up in Seattle. He's also very good friends with Payton. Payton is getting up there in age, and Kidd would be the perfect place for kidd. They have a young athletic team, and the addition of Kidd could get them back to the Finals in a couple of years.

i think kidd might stay. the number of nets fans in jersey is increasing. a lot more people are gonna start going to games once the regular season begins. the nets might move their team to an arena in newark (which, in my case and in the case of people in this area of jersey, would be great because public transportation to newark is very convenient). rod thorn said that he will do whatever it takes to keep kidd in jersey. joumana kidd said she doesn't want to move again. jason said that he likes it in jersey and that he likes his teammates. and finally, the team is doing good, and he knows that it's because of him. so, he might just stay.

What about Tony

Are u guys forgeting Tony Parker. He was great this year and will be even greater next year! Pretty soon he's gonna be the next J.Kidd, but hey if J.Kidd comes to SA then they will be almost unstopable. Also if J.Kidd comes to SA then they should trade Parker because he has to much talent to ride the bench. Send him to Philly!
