Why Orlando does it:

-They get a backup PG for Armstrong
-Backup SF
-Starting center that can block shots and run the floor
-Make Mike Miller the starting SF

Why the Hawks do it:

-We don't need Vaughn anymore
-With JT/SAR/Hill we have 3 potential Allstars
-We have a Point Foward when Dickau and Terry are both in the game.

If I were Orlando, I'd be holding on to Hill on the off-chance that he regains some semblance of the all-star, all-NBA form he showed a couple of years back. They invested too much in him to trade him away for that, especially another guy with a big injury question mark over his head

Hill is as big of a question mark as Theo.Atleast
Theo is gunna play in the summer league and
PROVE he is healthy.

For Hill all we have is what the doctor said..but
he also said Hill was back last season and that
didn't turn out to be the case.

True, but if pressed on a choice between a question marked Hill and a question marked Ratliff, I'd take Hill in a heartbeat.

Ratliff would make the Magic better. Hill could make them legit
