Did anyone hear about that Hawks ticket rebate. The Hawks said that if they dont make the playoffs next year the fans who were at the games will get a rebate. Did anyone hear about this, can someone give me the exact information on this.

I know that the Nets turned their season around and made the Playoffs but i dont think the Hawks can do the same.

I believe it's something like a $125 rebate to season ticket holders if the Hawks are unable to make the playoffs.

Not exactly sure, though.

I think they might increase people coming to watch the games like this so when it's all said and done it's probably a win/win sittuation for them.

Yes and I wouldn't be surprisef if when you go to the Hawks game you'll see people from Atlanta rooting for the Hawks apponent. :laugh:

The rebate is only for full season ticket holders...so you got to buy the whole season in order to qualify no jamp packs or slam packs or whatever they call them in Atlanta qualify you gotta have the full ticket package so basically you spend a couple grand and then if they don't make the play-off's you get 125 bucks back...basically they are trying to raise their season ticket sales...and make it look like they are commited to winning.

I heard about in on the Sports Report.

Here's what the deal was:

If the Hawks don't make the Playoffs next year, all of the season ticket holders get a $125 rebate!

If they do make the Playoffs, the first game will be free! I didn't believe it when I heard it, but it's true!

But unfortunately for the Hawks fans, it looks like you won't be getting that first Playoff game free. Atleast all of your season ticket holders will get $125 back.

I think it is a wise move for the team to do it because...

They do get more people going. People would be like "Oooh 125 dollars. I will go buy season tickets now"

and

They look like they are guaranteeing a winner, which intrigues fans
