Like rats fleeing a sinking ship, I too yearn to escape the dredges of the kiddy corp, where endlesss posts of "Who are the top 5 best dunkers?" are repeated over and over and over....lol.

Very nice board and layout Ron. A lot of nice little features and little moving pictures:eek: to keep me entertained. Everything looks very professional. I'll try to follow that theme. I don't post a lot, mostly about Cleveland Cavs, but I like to lurk and read most things, so thank you again... nice board!

Welcome aboard MongolMike.

So tell me... who are the best 5 dunkers of all time? And when you're finished that, answer me this: Who are the best 6 dunkers of all time?

have fun

Cheers

Well Shaq, since you axed me...

From what I've read, the 5 best dunkers are Qyntel Woods, LeBron James, Ricky Davis... blah, blah, blah... they just name players that they haven't even see, and forget to mention some of the older greats like Dr J, Connie Hawkins, Darryl Dawkins, etc...

All I know, is that anytime you ask for, "Who are the best this or that" it is all subjective, and the age of the poster has a lot to do with the players they would include in their list.

I personnally like ingame dunks in traffic more then I like dunks in a competition. Vince Carter can do great dunks in a competition or on a fast break but I would much rather see someone like Kenyon Martin flush on someone quite horribly.

SLAM said Vince is the best dunker of all time.

SLAM says a lot of things.

IMO MJ is the best dunker of all time. Then comes Dr. J, VC, 'Nique and so on.....

Ronnie Fields isn't even close. He's what, 16, 17? Just an exageration but he still hasn't played a college game, let alone dunked in the NBA.

And you want in game dunks, I'll give you in game dunks...

And the single greatest in-game dunk EVER

THOSE are some of the greatest pics of dunks during a game!

Now, find that one with Dominique dunking in a game over 4 guys, the one where he fights through and dunks that baby as an exclamation point to end all exclamation points!
