Pax should trade Nocioni & Pike for Corey Maggette! I checked on RealGM and it works perfectly. (Trade ID #2654814)

Why Clips do it:
Maggs has been complaining about coming off the bench. Clips would get a rugged forward to come off the bench (without complaining) and 3 point specialist with an expiring contract (cap space).

Why Bulls do it:
It would solve the height problem at the 2 spot but more importantly, it would give the Bulls a player that can draw fouls on a regular basis. A big problem with the current roster is they don't have a consistent scorer and they don't go to the foul line a lot. Maggs would address both those issues.

Capt.Kirk/Duhon/Pargo
Maggs/BenGo/Basden
Tyson/Allen
Sweets/Songailia/Harrington
Deng/TThomas

Next season add Ben Wallace via free agency, and a center and a small forward with those 2 first round draft picks and they will be all set.

Maggette is a stats player, not an impact player. Last year he put up the 2nd best stats on the team, yet the Clippers always looked better without him than they did with him. He doesn't know how to move the ball, and will always look for his shot first and foremost. Clippers were 10-6 without him last season.

wow, that's magnificent!

for us, that is. 2 problems.

1. clippers can get more than crap for correy.
2. correy is back at the starting lineup.

And the Clips are riding high on some early success and would be foolish to trade away a key player for 2 role players with the way they seem to be clicking right now.

But if the Clips were willing, I'd do it in an athlete's heartbeat.

How about you add in Duhon and our pick and Wicox?

Then you get:

Duhon, Nocioni, Pike & our pick

for

Maggette & Wicox

No other team except the Clippers would do this, but they are the Clippers for a reaason. Duhon would be great pick-up for them because you know they aren't going to keep Sam after this year and they need some insurace for Livingston.

Bulls Line-up:
PG: Hinrich / Gordon
SG: Maggette / Gordon
SF: Deng / Maggette / Songaila
PF: Sweetney / Wilcox / Songaila / Harrington
C: Chandler / 2 PF frontline

How's that?

Why would the streaking Clippers do this? The players they get back in the trade would not start got them.
