SuS, you were such a trooper at the RMR games that I hate to bother you for more info, but if you are interested in telling us more, I am sure that many of us would be interested.

Let's say we have the following scale.

F - total project
D - weak bench player in NBA
C - good bench player in NBA
B - average NBA starter
A - very good NBA starter

Could you rank each player (relative to other NBA players playing their position) using this scale on the following categories?

(a) ball handling
(b) passing
(c) shooting range
(d) ability to finish
(e) post-up ability and inside play
(f) rebounding
(g) attitude, work ethic, leadership
(h) on-the-ball defense
(i) team defense

Also, it would be fascinating to see how you would have ranked them both before and after the RMR, in order for us to see how the play at the RMR changed your opinions of players.

If you would prefer to do something less structured, that would be fine as well.

My Ratings for Dali

D - ball handling - only b/c he's a center
F - passing - he doesn't
C - shooting range - for a backup center
F - ability to finish - project
F - post-up ability and inside play
F - rebounding - only reason why Dali could stay in the league, but needs to learn
F - attitude, work ethic, leadership - team leader in flagrant fouls
D - on-the-ball defense
F - team defense - this is where he shines *whistle* flagrant

This is why anybody is better than playing Dali. I don't mind keeping him around for a cheap contract with the hope he might learn something and eventually have trade value though. I just didn't want to see him play 20 mins a game this season. Hopefully Blount and Eddy don't get hurt.

Just when I think I might have a chance to sit down and get some work done, someone drops a bomb at my desk and asks for a complete stat sheet involving every RMR game and every player graded on a subjective scale by a subjective subject (sorry about word play... I can't help it.:upset: .

Okay, because of my loyalty to all themes related to my Beloved Bulls and to all those people who march among my ranks, here for you tonight is my official RMR Report - SettinUpShop style.

(drum roll please)

may I have the scale please....

Next time ask me for a numerical scale. I think it might help your eyes.
:)

Note: Hassell got an A for on-the-ball defense because he was guarding other 3's and held his own. He's better sized for 2's.

Also: Mason and Graves did not play in all games listed above. Graves actually only played a total of about 10 min in the final blow out game against Toronto (yes, Tornoto blew us out) in which he electrified the gym with his hustle and shooting. At least someone on the Bulls felt the pressure of trying to secure a job.

Thanks a ton, SuS. It was interesting seeing what you had to say. It was interesting that you had JWill/JC rated quite a bit higher than Curry/Chandler, even though statistics-wise, Curry and Chandler seemed more impressive.

Also, you rate JC a bit higher than JWill overall. Did you feel that way before the RMR? Or did your opinion change during the RMR?

And again, thanks a lot.
