I know amari Stuudamire vert is at 42" because i went to highschool with him and the coaches were saying it and they actualy tested with the measurments and everything. And that is crazy for a guy that is 6'10. And he can take off from well beyond the free throw line

Actually, David Thompson had somewhere closer to 50" from what I heard. The story was that he could take a quarter off the top of the backboard and leave two dimes and a nickel :)

These r the verticals for some of the high fliers we have seen in the nba......I once saw them listed at a dunk site.

T-mac - 39''
Kobe - 37''

Iverson - 40''(this was during his early days)
MJ - 43'' during his physical prime
Scottie - 37'' during his physical prime
Baron Davis - 44'', most say he has the highest vertical in the nba.
