Terrific first game for the Lakers against Sacto.

All playoff season long, the Lakers have been screwing around, waiting to get serious only in the fourth quarter. There is no way in hell they should have beaten Portland in game 3, somehow coming back from 5 points down with less than 40 seconds to go in the game.

How they ever beat San Antonio in game 4, 10 points down with 5 minutes to go, you got me.

But by coming out and showing who was boss today in Sacto in the very first quarter...now, that was a statement.

36-22 after one will definitely get your attention. :grinning:

I agree and I think the Lakers were so ready that they shocked the Kings, who never seemed to really get into any kind of team defense.

The Kings answered that tonight, though, which was good to see for anybody who appreciates a good series.
