Assuming that Duncan and Howard are in 85% condition when they come back, and Mutombo starts as a PF.

Mutombo takes the break (7th to 11th minutes), (18th to 24th minutes).

How did Spurs play against Rockets in the Playoffs?

If Manu drives the basket to the hoop, 2 big men are waiting in the paint.

Neither of these two can defend the PnR properly and what about Yao?

IMO, Wesley and M James are top 5 strongest guards in the NBA.

If Rockets can hold Spurs to 80 pts or less, they have a good chance.

the rox/spurs games are usually tight and ugly (except for the last one where the rox were playing them 4 on 5 because of their pg situation with strickland and barrett). it could go either way.

the rockets will beat the spurs if they play in the playoffs.

but i also think the mavs will beat the rockets if they play and the spurs will beat the mavs. i'm not really sure what to think about the suns and sonics at this point.

so i think it's all going to depend on the matchups and who plays who first which makes the remainder of the regular season pretty important.
