Darko will not play the 2 or 3. Howard will play 4 or 5 and Darko will play opposite of Howard. It's that simple.
They alternate between the 4 and 5. Darko is 7'1'', there's no way he's gonna be a 2.

mybad i must of misstype it happens i meant the 4 or the 5
by the way he didnt play at all in the 1st period against the t-wolves so that may answer your question. i think you have to look at what worked for other teams in the past, houston with sampson and olajuwon, the spurs with the admiral and duncan maybe even boston with mchale and parrish, i know that's going back aways but i think you get my point. darko looks to have the best ability to play facing the bucket or the highpost. for sure they need to develope chemistry between the two, it isnt going to do any good for one to do well while the other is on the bench and vice versa.
in this day and age of basketball, does it really matter who's labeled at what position? because if you really think about it, with the lack of true centers out there, the 4 and the 5 positions are interchangable. as are the 2 and 3 positions.

2 and 3 probably more so. with the 4 and 5 they cant both play the lowpost unless one posts up on the strongside and the other is parked on the other side of the lane ala what they do at duke. another example that i didnt mention before of 2 guys who made it work were vlade and webber. vlade would pass out of the highpost to cutters or dump it down to c-webb and it was good enough to win a title. oh i forgot they lost that series to the lakers,or did they.
Not like C-Webb really "posted up" much neither did Divac. They were more a high post passing big men. But still, most teams don't even HAVE a low post presence. We have one in Dwight, and Darko as I've heard, prefers to shoot 20 footers. So they can coexist together imo.
