Huggy Bear to K State

Heard a report on ESPN Sports Radio this morning the Huggins is to be the new coach at Kansas St. This is a match made in heaven. I read sometime ago that K St has virtually the easiest admission requirement in the USA i.e., if you graduate from an accredited high school etc. in Kansas you are in. As you read this posting, the Huggins posse is already out renting apartments around the State of Kansas for this Fall's student athletes who will be attending summer classes to qualify.

Enquirer also reporting this morning the GW has given UC permission to talk to Hobbs, but they hint that the George Mason guy is the fav right now.
Hugs and K State looks like a match made in heaven. K-State has a nice arena that provides a hostile environment, they lose 5 seniors so recruiting will be all his, KState doesn't object to a roster full of Jucos, Big 12 = big stage for Hugs, Manhattan, KS makes Hugs a large fish in a small pond for his loyalist to worship him and all others will have to hide out of fear of persecution. Hugs will be bigger than anything out there...just the way he likes it. This is a done deal and if he gets Mayo and Walker to go with him he'll be an immediate legend in Kansas.

Lot of flatland out there - just drive straight, Huggy. Close your eyes, and touch your nose.

That same article about Hobbs said the GW was going to take a closer look at the kids he is recruiting. It almost sounds to me like they want him to leave.

"There's nobody in this business who wants these renegade schools or deceitful or fraudulent people taking advantage of the system," [GW vice president Robert] Chernak said. "To expose them for what they are, I have no problem with that. If GW is one of those situations where something has slipped through the cracks, we'd be the first to work with the NCAA ourselves and say, 'We're going to try to do a better job at it because we're not satisfied with the way things are.' I bet that game officials are already checking the Big12 schedule to see when Texas Tech and Kansas State are scheduled to play. (Bobby Knight & Huggs - a double dose of serious *****in')

Look for a lot of sick days to be used on that day !
Perfect fit - I understand KSU does such a wonderful job for preparing their athletes for high school. Huggy will fit right in.
One could make the argument that UC's new guy, Cronin, is just as bad, if not worse than Huggins. It seemed like Cincy was cleaning up their act for a little bit before Huggs got axed. The worst of all their cheating days and young guys out of life routine was when that Cronin guy was an asst for Thuggins. What kind of message is UC's president saying with that hire after calling Thuggins out on all the same things this whole time. UC has shown once again, they're a bunch of clowns making decisions there.

Kansas St made a desparate hire in my opinion, so did Cincinnati. I hope Temple can replace the legend. Solid program deserves so.
