I dunno if you guys would part with Pau, but hey.......

Memphis trades: SG James Posey (10.5 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 1.4 apg in 27.4 minutes)
PF Pau Gasol (17.5 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 2.4 apg in 32.2 minutes)
Memphis receives: SF Rashard Lewis (19.0 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 2.1 apg in 36.9 minutes)
PG Ronald Murray (16.1 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 2.9 apg in 29.6 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +7.1 ppg, -2.5 rpg, and +1.2 apg.

Seattle trades: SF Rashard Lewis (19.0 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 2.1 apg in 36.9 minutes)

talent wise it's not too bad.. rashard and pau are both borderline all-stars. however, grizzlies are already stacked at rashard and murray's primary positions. maybe if you throw in rasho or reggie evans or the like... that way we don't lose too much size.

Any trade involving Gasol will have to include Ray Allen on Seattle's part, and even then I'm not sure we'd do it. Memphis is almost in the same boat as Seattle, in that we have a truckload of swingmen and no qualified big bodies in the middle. We have Gasol and Swift, but they're always pushed around. Seattle has a lot of big guys that are all around the same skill level (read: none). Therefore, in any trade between the teams, the scoring big man is going to come at a premium.

Reggie Evans ain't nothin' either. Danny Fortson lite.

James Posey is better thasn Murray and Pau is better than Lewis. Add to that Pau is 7'0 tall and this deal would be laughed at. Itis not close talent wise IMO.

You were right...you are bad at trades.
