I think the Bulls are gonna dominate the Summer games this year.

Most of the players who are on the roster are the current Bulls starters.

Throw in Williams (who is the most NBA ready player out of all of this year's draft picks) and you have a pretty formidible unit.

Well, if I were you, I wouldn't be alarmed if they didn't. The Golden State summer league team recently got their lunch handed to them by a group of scrubs representing the Lakers. The Warriors team featured Arenas, Jason Richarson, Dunleavy and Murphy.

Thanks for the warning friend. :)

BigBlue...

Everything's okay over at Worldcrossing.
I am definitely hoping for the Bulls to dominate the summer league, assuming all of our key players get big minutes. The key will be to see if Tyson and Eddy can dominate. If we can dominate the summer league, I definitely think the play-offs are possible. If we only manage a .500 record in the summer league, I think the play-offs might be out of reach.
Hey Kramer- I got an avatar for you if you want it

To those expecting the Bulls to "dominate" the summer league, just remember that the goals of the team and the goals of the fans are not necessarily one and the same for these leagues. I have no doubt the team is looking to work on specific areas of improvement (whether it be team defense, execution of the offense, etc.) as are players looking to try out new moves, work on specific areas of their game, etc. That does not always equate to winning.
The Suns roster for summer league play:

Big Jake, Little Jake, Joe Johnson, Milt Palacio, Amare Stoudamire, Casey Jacobsen. This has a lot of strong bench players and a couple of starters (Big Jake, Joe Johnson), and I expect that this will be a team that will make waves.

Casey Jacobsen scored 35 points in summer league play three days ago. 5-6 from 3 point land, 7-10 shooting FG, and an impressive 16-17 from the stripe. Getting 17 free throws shows a lot about Jacobsen's game that goes beyond just jump shooting and range. He also got 5 boards and 5 assists. Maybe he IS a 1st round pick, after all.

In the same game, Gilbert Arenas managed to amass seven fouls. http://www.proexposure.com/stories/0711j.cfm

????

Anyway. The Bulls are missing Fizer and Rose, but basically the rest of the team is there. Craw, Curry, Chandler, Williams, Hassell... these guys are the future of the team. If they lose a game, though, it's really not that big a deal.
GSW has most of their roster except for their bigs playing. Counteracting the missing players, Murphy is putting up the best numbers each night. And they are 1-3. Yikes!!!
I'm ACHIN' for some baskeball news/games (and don't give me any of that WNBA stuff).
dominate the SUMMER LEAGUE??...who really cares about the summer league any way?...i just hope no body gets injuried...
