Mariners' right fielder Ichiro Suzuki feels his team is in dire condition, lacking clubhouse leadership and proper commitment to winning following the team's second straight 90-loss season, according to a report in The Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
In an interview with Japan's Kyodo News Service published in the Tokyo Shimbun newspaper last week, Ichiro made what the Post-Intelligencer called "sharp, nonspecific criticisms" the American public has scarcely heard from him before.
