Very hard to say at the moment as Shaq is just so dominant and when he makes his free throws like he did in this playoffs, can anyone stop a team he's on, with or without Kobe?

Right now I'd say that if he had T-Mac or Pierce as a second in command, he would still be sitting atop the mountain with his third title.

Kobe is a great player, but is just the second best player on the team

So why havent they traded kobe yet for like tmac or antoine walker or jason kidd.Why are they keeping kobe if they could win without him?

Lakers are not trying to trade Kobe Bryant right now because they are winning, that's a pretty lame question you just asked right now because as the famous quote goes "If it ain't broken, don't fix it"

Anyways, I remember when you guys were on a slump and paniced and first thing you thought about was trading Kobe. I wonder why he was the first thought to pop out of LA's management's mind instead of Shaq if he's such a god right?

That was what fans and some writers spewing out. No one from management was quoted of saying that. If they were, I'd like to see a link. Don't believe everything you read on a message board.

Well, I remember when Kobe and Shaq were fueding, a member of of the Lakers brass said that they had to listen to all offers that they may receive.... Now, that is about as close as it comes to saying that they are considering trading Kobe.
