I just can't see 'em taking two on the road against the Lakers. They need this one more than anything. This will be the game that decides whther there'll be a series, or a slaughter.

Chris Webber, get inside and stop taking jumpers!!! God didn't give you that frame to waste it on the perimeter. Actually, he probably didn't give it to you to play basketball either, but while you've got it, damn well use it! Get inside, rebound and make your damn foul shots

The Kings

I'm inclined to agree and this game is exciting so far! Hopefully, the Kings will make this an exciting series for all basketball fans.

I think Tyra is attracted to his money and his niceness! :D

It was a hard fought victory for the Kings and now it is a series, thank god! There is nothing worse than 4/0 victories - as in boring.

Bobby Jackson is quite the little competitor. I wonder if Peja is going to play anytime soon ,as that would undoubtedly help the King's cause. I believe he is their #1 or #2 scorer, isn't he?

Jackson has definately stepped up during these playoffs and I bet there are alot of teams out there wishing they could get their hands on him as there starter.

I think you got that right & I bet the TWolves wish they had him back - considering that Brandon went down and that kind of derailed the rest of the season for the TWolves.

I would think there would be many teams that could use his "competiveness", defense, and clutch shooting - for sure!

Not if you are a Laker fan! :D

I think the Lakers will wake up in game 3 and win, but game 4 is a crap-shoot. If the Kings can't win on Friday, they face another must-win situation on Sunday.

I hope the Kings win game three!
Why?

Probably, the main reason is that it would really wake up/shake up the Lakers and then the series could become one that is memorable for all fans! The media would be all over it, so it would end up bringing in new fans, which usually happens when you have a series that is so memorable!

I know, I know - probably most Laker fans want a 4/0 series, but to the average fan of the game, we want a competitive series above all! We want it EXCITINGLY close and competitive.

Actually I'm a Laker fan and I tend to agree with Rifleman.

I enjoyed the 2000 playoffs a lot more than the 2001 playoffs. That 7 game series against the Blazers was epic and exciting. The final game against the Spurs was too one-sided for my tastes. I tend to lose interest in the games when it's almost a foregone conclusion that one team will dominate.

I'm that way, too. And that series against the Blazers was one for the nba history videos, for sure! I think that kind of a series is what made the Lakers into the great team they are today. It is one of those building blocks that all champions go through.

And it definitely holds our interest for the entire 48!

Gotta agree. No matter who is playing, a blowout is not good for the game, the league or the fans (us!!!). I suppose we're lucky because basketball does tend to provide a lot of close finishes

Cheers
